A ready to apply pigmented patio sealer suitable for application on most types of concrete paved surfaces. Patio Colour Seal can transform the look and appearance of a tired-looking paved area and make it look new. This DIY friendly product is superior to inexpensive concrete paints and is very easy to apply by roller or brush. Prior to application, all surfaces must be cleaned thoroughly and given sufficient time to dry out completely. After two coats have been applied the transformation should be complete.
Patio Colour Seal can be used to refresh the existing colour of old concrete paving or change it completely to a new colour if necessary. Average coverage is approximately 4m² per litre 1st coat (dependent on the surface) and approximately 5m² 2nd coat. If required, an anti-slip additive can be mixed in with the sealer on the final coat if required. There are various colour options and samples available to test if required.

Q: Does the area need to be 100% dry before using? Or can it be slightly damp?
A: To avoid any issues with surface whiteness appearing after application, we do advise to apply the Patio ColourSeal to a surface that is completely dry. If the surface is damp any trapped moisture could result in a white 'blooming' effect once the sealer dries out.
Q: Is it suitable for brick edging.
A: If you are referring to block paving edging, yes, it could be used for this, but our recommendation would be to use 'Block Magic' which is specifically for block paving. Hope that helps.
Q: After applying the patio colour seal, does it need to be topped with the clear sealer or is it protected enough with the 2 coat of patio colour seal?
A: The Patio Colourseal does not need to coated with another sealer as it is a sealer in itself. Two coats should be sufficient to colour and seal the patio.

Only bought the sample tin so far of the patio coloured sealer as wanted to make sure it does what it says on the tin. Painted three high traffic areas and so far looks great.. Will continue testing for a couple of weeks and if OK., then all systems go!
Colourseal dark grey - great product easy to apply and lasts brilliantly. Does not wear off on high traffic areas. Have just purchased for the second time and now my neighbours have also purchased
Great customer service- first package did not arrive but when I contacted Smartseal they got it resolved and the paint arrived within 2 days. I have used the sample pots to paint our doorstep pavers which has really smartened things up. Im going to see how it wears and if it stays looking good we will buy enough to do the whole patio.
